HDMI 2.0 Connectivity and EDID Simulation

Each computer connects through an HDMI 2.0 port and a USB 3.0 cable, while the two monitors attach to the switch’s HDMI outputs. EDID simulation keeps window layouts intact when switching between machines. Front-panel push buttons and an included IR remote provide two ways to change the active system without reaching behind the unit.

4K@60Hz Limit and Dual-GPU Requirement

The switch passes video up to 4K at 60 Hz and falls back to 4K@30Hz, 1440p@60Hz or 1080p@60Hz when sources or cables cannot sustain the top rate. Dual-monitor extended mode only works if each computer supplies two HDMI outputs; single-GPU systems cannot drive both screens independently. Hot-key switching is not supported.
