A 2-port DisplayPort 1.4 KVM switch sharing one monitor, keyboard, mouse and two USB 3.0 hub ports between two computers at up to 8K@30Hz or 4K@144Hz
This KVM switch connects two computers or laptops to a single monitor, keyboard and mouse. Two extra USB 3.0 hub ports allow additional peripherals to be shared between the systems. It suits IT specialists, multi-tasking professionals and home-office users who need to toggle between machines without unplugging cables.
The DisplayPort 1.4 link handles 8K at 30 Hz, 5K at 50 or 60 Hz and 4K at 144 Hz continuously. Resolution remains stable during long sessions because the final output depends only on the connected graphics cards, monitor and cables working together. No EDID emulation is present, so desktop layout may shift on each switch or boot.
Both source computers must provide DisplayPort video outputs; HDMI or USB-C sources require active powered adapters. Verify that your monitor and cables support the target resolution and refresh rate you plan to use. The unit operates at 5 V and includes a push-button, wired remote, keyboard hotkeys, mouse hotkeys and auto-scan for switching.
