Triple-Monitor KVM for Four Computers

This HDMI 2.1 KVM switch lets one keyboard, mouse and three monitors control up to four computers or laptops. It supports extended, mirrored or spliced display modes across all three outputs. EDID emulation keeps each screen at its native resolution when switching. The unit is aimed at users who split a desk between personal, gaming and work machines.

Bundled Cables and USB 3.0 Hub

The package includes twelve HDMI cables, two USB cables, a wired remote, a 12 V power adapter and a manual. The integrated USB 3.0 hub shares a single peripheral such as a printer, webcam or headset across the four connected computers. Separate 3.5 mm speaker and microphone ports handle analogue audio alongside HDMI digital audio.

HDMI 2.1 Bandwidth and Switching Limits

Maximum video formats reach 7680x4320 at 60 Hz and 3840x2160 at 120 Hz, with additional modes such as 5120x1440 at 60 Hz and 3840x1080 at 240 Hz. Switching is limited to five methods: hotkey, mouse roller, front button, wired remote and auto-scan intervals of 8 to 999 seconds. The remote cable can be extended to 15 metres using a standard 3.5 mm auxiliary lead.

Questions about this item

How long will the included HDMI and USB cables last before they need replacing?

The box supplies twelve HDMI cables and two USB cables; they are passive copper links with no moving parts, so they only need replacement if a connector is damaged or a cable is physically cut.

What resolution and refresh-rate ceiling will I hit first when running three 4K monitors all day?

HDMI 2.1 bandwidth caps the triple-head output at 3840×2160 @ 120 Hz per screen; pushing higher refresh rates forces a drop to 4K @ 60 Hz or lower colour depth.

How hot does the DC 12 V power adapter get during continuous 8 K @ 60 Hz operation?

The 12 V adapter runs warm but stays within normal limits for a desktop-class supply; the metal chassis of the switch acts as a heatsink, so no external fan is required.
