The IOGEAR GCS1642 connects two computers to a shared dual-monitor console using Dual-Link DVI and USB. It supports resolutions up to 2560 x 1600 across both displays. Switching is handled by hotkeys, a front pushbutton, or a three-button USB mouse. The unit includes a 2.0 hub for peripheral sharing and separate audio jacks for speakers and microphone.

Fits a dual-head workstation with two PCs

Each computer requires two Dual-Link DVI outputs, one USB Type-B port, and audio connections to reach the switch. The console side provides two DVI inputs for monitors, two USB Type-A ports for keyboard and mouse, and audio jacks. A 5.3 V, 2.4 A power adapter is required for operation.
