Dock speaker for iPod nano 1G and 2G

This compact dock speaker is built exclusively for first- and second-generation iPod nano models. It lets owners play music aloud without headphones. The integrated dock connector provides a direct audio path from the player. It suits listeners who want a simple, cable-free way to share tracks in small spaces.

Battery-powered operation with on/off switch

The unit runs on the included batteries, so no mains adapter is required. An on/off switch conserves power when the speaker is not in use. SRS TruBass processing enhances low-frequency response from the small drivers. The acoustic output is intended for personal or tabletop listening at moderate volume.

Protective cover and release mechanism

A clear cover shields the nano screen and body from scratches while docked. All player controls remain accessible through the cover. A dedicated release switch ejects the nano safely for removal. The package includes the speaker, the protective cover and the batteries needed for immediate use.

Questions about this item

How do I dock the iPod nano 1G or 2G into the iHM1B2 and what step do people miss?

Slide the nano into the dock until it clicks, then use the release switch to eject it; the clear cover stays on for scratch protection while the nano is docked.

What maintenance will the iHM1B2 need over time?

Replace the included batteries when they no longer hold a charge; the on/off switch helps conserve battery life between uses.

What is the first limitation you hit during extended playback on the iHM1B2?

Battery life is the limiting factor — once the included batteries are depleted the speaker stops until fresh batteries are installed.
