Extra-long USB-A to USB-C cable

This 10-foot nylon-braided cable connects a USB-A charger or port to any device with a USB-C socket. It delivers up to 3.1 A at 5 V for fast charging and handles USB 2.0 data at 480 Mb/s. The reversible USB-C plug and tangle-free braid suit daily phone, tablet or accessory charging.

Replaces short or frayed factory leads

The 10 ft length reaches across a room or behind furniture where a 1 m cable cannot. A 56 kΩ pull-up resistor keeps the 2.4–3.1 A current within USB-A specification, protecting both the charger and the device. The aluminium shells and 40 000-bend rating survive the wear that kills basic PVC cords.

Handles phone and tablet charging and sync

Comfortably powers Samsung Galaxy S-series, A-series, Z Fold and Z Flip models, Google Pixel phones and recent iPhone 15 and 16 models that use USB-C. Data transfer caps at USB 2.0 speed, so large video libraries move slowly. Not suited for laptops or docks that need USB 3.x bandwidth or Power Delivery negotiation.

Questions about this item

How much clearance does the 10 ft cable need behind a desk or nightstand?

The 10 ft length reaches across a room, while the nylon braid adds minimal bulk; leave a few centimetres at each end so the aluminium connector housings are not bent sharply against furniture.

What is the most common mistake when plugging this USB A to USB C cable into a charger?

Users often insert the USB A plug upside down; the reversible USB C end goes either way, but the USB A end has a single orientation — align the plastic tab before pushing.

When should the cable be replaced after repeated bending?

The braided jacket is rated for 40000 plus bend cycles; if the nylon sheath frays, the aluminium housing cracks, or charging drops below 3.1 A, replace the cable.
