Gundam RX-78-2 Limited Keyboard

The iKBC GUNDAM RX-78-2 Limited is a wireless mechanical keyboard with an 87-key compact layout. It uses genuine Cherry MX Red linear switches and connects via a 2.4 GHz RF link with a 1.5 m cable option. The design features a blue and white colour scheme licensed from the Gundam franchise.

Best for Compact Wireless Setups

This keyboard suits users who want a tenkeyless form factor with the reliability of Cherry MX Red switches and a stable 2.4 GHz connection. Buyers who need a full numeric keypad or prefer a wired-only connection should look elsewhere.

Deciding Specification: 87-Key Layout

The 87-key compact layout removes the numeric keypad to save desk space while keeping the function row and navigation cluster. If your workflow requires a dedicated number pad, this layout will not fit; if you want maximum mouse room, it is the defining feature.

Questions about this item

What are the exact dimensions of the 87-key iKBC GUNDAM RX-78-2 keyboard?

The keyboard measures 362 mm wide, 137 mm deep and 42 mm high, so check your desk space against those figures before ordering.

How do I pair the 2.4 GHz wireless keyboard with my computer?

Plug the USB receiver into a free port, switch the keyboard on, and wait for the link to establish automatically; the step users often miss is leaving the receiver on a USB hub instead of a direct motherboard port.

How long will the wireless keyboard run before I need to recharge or replace the batteries?

The manufacturer rates standby time at six months; actual use will be shorter, so plan to recharge via the 1.5 m cable when the battery indicator shows low.
