1×8 HDMI Splitter for 1080p Displays

The iKKEGOL unit takes a single HDMI source and duplicates it across eight HDMI outputs. It supports video up to 1080p resolution at 60Hz and handles 3D signals at 1080p 24Hz. The splitter is HDCP compliant across versions 1.0, 1.1, 1.2, 1.2a and 1.4. It suits installers who need to feed multiple screens from one player, set-top box or console.

Plug-and-play setup with external power

No configuration or software is required; connect the source to the input and up to eight displays to the outputs. The device needs the included 5V DC 3A power supply to operate, drawing a maximum of 12W. A common issue is using unpowered or long HDMI cables that exceed the 2.25Gbps bandwidth limit, causing signal drop-out on higher resolutions.

Maximum resolution 1080p at 2.25Gbps bandwidth

The single specification that decides suitability is the 2.25Gbps video amplifier bandwidth, which caps the output at 1920×1200p and 1080p 60Hz. It will not pass 4K, HDR or higher refresh-rate signals. Buyers needing 4K distribution or HDMI 2.0 features should select a different splitter.

Questions about this item

How can I verify the splitter is passing a 1080p signal at 60 Hz to all eight displays after setup?

Check each connected display for a stable 1080p image at 60 Hz; the unit supports 1080p at 60/85 Hz vertical frequency and 2.25 Gbps bandwidth across all eight HDMI outputs.

What comes in the package and which cables must I supply myself?

The box includes the 1×8 HDMI splitter and a 5 V DC 3 A external power supply; you must provide one HDMI cable for the source and up to eight HDMI cables for the displays.

Should I choose this model or a different version for a 1080p 3D setup?

This splitter handles 1080p 3D at 24 Hz and all listed 1080p resolutions up to 60/85 Hz, so it suits a 1080p 3D installation; no other versions are described in the specifications.
