Indoor climate monitor

The iKKEGOL silver thermometer hygrometer displays indoor temperature and humidity together with an external probe for a second location. It suits homeowners, renters or hobbyists who want a simple view of room conditions and a remote sensor for a fridge, greenhouse or outdoor spot. The unit runs on one AAA battery and offers a fold-out stand or wall-mount option.

Upgrade from basic gauges

Unlike single-function analog dials or stick-on strips, this device records minimum and maximum readings for both temperature and humidity and lets you switch between Celsius and Fahrenheit with one button. The jump is worth it when you need to track daily extremes or verify that a refrigerator stays within a safe range without opening the door.

Probe cable limits placement

The 6.6ft probe cable sets the maximum distance between the main unit and the external sensor, so the remote spot must be within that reach. The external sensor measures temperature only, while humidity is measured at the main unit indoors. The operating range spans 14 to 158 degrees Fahrenheit, so environments outside that window will not read correctly.

Questions about this item

How much wall space does the 3.07 in by 3.86 in unit need?

The main unit measures 3.07 inches wide by 3.86 inches deep, so allow at least that footprint plus clearance for the 6.6 ft probe cable to exit cleanly.

Which step do buyers often miss when mounting the probe for outdoor readings?

They forget to press the IN-OUT button until OUT appears on the LCD, so the display keeps showing the internal sensor instead of the 6.6 ft external probe.

When should the single AAA cell be replaced?

Swap the AAA battery when the LCD dims or readings drift; the unit has no low-battery indicator, so plan on a fresh cell roughly once a year with typical use.
