Pack of Two Blue 25-Foot Cat5e Cables

This pack supplies two 25-foot Cat5e patch cables with RJ45 connectors. Each plug uses 50-micron gold plating to resist corrosion and maintain conductivity. The cables are intended for standard wired Ethernet links.

Suits Home and Small-Office Wiring

These cables suit anyone needing a ready-made, 25-foot run for a desktop, laptop or network device. They are not for installers who require bulk cable on a reel, shorter patch leads for a rack, or a higher category rating such as Cat6 or Cat6a.

50-Micron Gold RJ45 Contacts

The defining specification is the 50-micron gold thickness on every RJ45 contact. That plating level is far above the common 3-to-6 micron grade and is the detail that determines long-term reliability in humid or dusty environments.

Questions about this item

How much heat or noise do these 25-foot CAT5e cables generate when running all day?

Passive copper cables produce no heat and no noise during continuous use.

What devices must I already own for these RJ45 patch cables to work?

You need two devices with standard RJ45 Ethernet ports such as a router, switch, PC, Mac, laptop or game console.

Will the 50-micron gold-plated connectors resist corrosion better than thinner plating in humid environments?

Yes, the 50-micron gold layer provides greater corrosion protection than typical 3-6 micron plating for longer life in humid or non-clean air.
