Inctel Mini PC i5-4200U

The Inctel B-I3-I5-8G128G is a fanless mini desktop built around an Intel Core i5-4200U processor with Intel HD Graphics 4400. It arrives new with Windows 10 Pro pre-installed and 8GB of DDR3 memory. The compact aluminium chassis suits industrial or office settings where silent, dust-resistant operation is required.

Dual display VGA HDMI and legacy COM ports

Video output uses one VGA and one HDMI port for dual-monitor setups. Two RS232 COM ports support older industrial equipment. Four USB 3.0 and three USB 2.0 ports handle peripherals, while dual-band 802.11ac Wi-Fi with external antennas provides wireless connectivity. A 12V 5A DC adapter powers the unit from 100-240V AC mains.

128GB SSD with mSATA and 2.5-inch expansion

The installed 128GB SSD boots the operating system and stores core applications. One mSATA slot and one 2.5-inch bay allow additional storage up to 16GB of DDR3L-1600 memory across two SO-DIMM slots. The platform handles light multi-tasking and legacy software but lacks discrete graphics for modern 3D workloads.

Questions about this item

How far can the i5-4200U push its 2.60 GHz turbo before the fanless aluminium chassis hits its thermal ceiling?

The fanless design relies on the aluminium case to spread heat, so sustained loads will throttle once the case saturates; no active cooling means the 2.60 GHz boost cannot be held indefinitely.

What noise and heat should I expect when this Mini PC runs 24/7 in a dusty cabinet?

Zero fan noise because the system is completely fanless; the aluminium body becomes warm to the touch as it passively dissipates the i5-4200U's heat into the surrounding air.

Which display cables and mounts do I need to have ready before this unit will show a picture?

You need a VGA or HDMI cable for video, a 12 V 5 A DC power adapter (included), and your own mounting hardware for the integrated ears; no screen, keyboard or mouse are supplied.
