Compact Fanless Desktop

The Inctel I3-i5 8250U-8G240G is a new mini PC built around an Intel Core i5-8250U processor with integrated UHD Graphics 620. It ships with 8GB of DDR4 memory and a 240GB SSD, running Windows 10 Pro out of the box. The aluminium chassis uses passive cooling for silent operation in dust-sensitive environments. No monitor is included.

Suitable For Quiet Fixed Roles

This unit suits digital-signage players, kiosk controllers or office workstations where silence and reliability matter. Its two RS-232 COM ports support legacy industrial equipment. Buyers who need discrete graphics performance, internal 2.5-inch drive bays or a pre-installed Linux image should look elsewhere.

8GB DDR4 Memory Decides Fit

The system comes with 8GB of DDR4 RAM installed and the platform supports up to 32GB total across two SO-DIMM slots. If the target workload fits within 8GB today this configuration is ready to deploy; if more memory is required the buyer must plan an upgrade before purchase.

Questions about this item

What physical space and mounting points does the 234 mm by 150 mm by 43 mm aluminium chassis need?

The mini PC measures 234 by 150 by 43 mm and includes integrated mounting ears for wall or DIN-rail installation; allow clearance around the fanless aluminium case for passive heat dissipation.

Which cable must be connected first during setup to avoid a no-power condition?

Connect the 12 V 5 A DC power adapter to the DC jack before attaching any HDMI, VGA, LAN or USB cables; the unit will not boot without the DC supply seated firmly.

When the SO-DIMM slots reach their 32 GB DDR4 limit, what replacement steps are required?

Remove the chassis cover, release the two SO-DIMM latches, insert DDR4-2133 or DDR4-2400 modules up to 16 GB each, then reseat the cover and reconnect power.
