Fanless industrial mini PC

The Inctel Partaker I3 is a compact desktop computer built around an Intel Core i5-8250U processor with integrated UHD Graphics 620. It ships with 8 GB of DDR4 memory and a 128 GB SSD, running Windows 10 Pro out of the box. The aluminium chassis uses passive cooling, making it suitable for dusty or noise-sensitive environments such as factory floors or digital signage installations.

Dual display and legacy I/O

Integrated graphics drive one HDMI and one VGA output simultaneously, supporting 4K resolution on the HDMI port. Four USB 3.0 ports and three USB 2.0 ports handle modern and older peripherals, while two RS-232 COM ports provide direct serial connectivity for industrial equipment. Gigabit Ethernet and dual-band 802.11ac Wi-Fi with included antennas cover wired and wireless networking needs.

Straightforward deployment

The unit measures 234 by 150 by 43 mm and includes mounting ears for wall or DIN-rail attachment. A 12 V 5 A power adapter and IEC power cord are supplied, accepting 100-240 V AC input. Internal expansion allows one mSATA SSD, one M.2 SSD and one 2.5-inch drive, with memory upgradeable to 32 GB via two SO-DIMM slots. Buyers who need discrete graphics performance or additional PCIe expansion slots should consider a larger chassis.

Questions about this item

Does the 8 GB DDR4-2133/2400 memory need to be upgraded to the 32 GB maximum for typical workloads?

The unit ships with 8 GB DDR4 installed in two SO-DIMM slots; the board supports up to 32 GB total, so additional modules can be added later if workloads demand more capacity.

What limits sustained performance on the Core i5-8250U inside the fanless aluminium chassis?

Without active cooling the processor relies on the case for heat dissipation, so thermal throttling under continuous heavy load is the first limit you will encounter.

How much heat and noise should I expect when the mini PC runs 24/7 in a dusty environment?

The fanless design means zero acoustic noise; the aluminium enclosure spreads heat silently, making it suitable for round-the-clock operation in dust-sensitive areas.
