Swedish Dishcloth 8 Pack

This set contains eight reusable cellulose sponge cloths measuring 7.9 in x 7 in x .2 in each. They are designed for kitchen dishwashing, hand drying, and general surface cleaning in domestic or office environments.

Suited for low-waste households

Buyers wanting compostable, fast-drying cloths that replace multiple paper-towel rolls over an 8-12 week lifespan will find these suitable. Those needing heavy-duty abrasion for baked-on grime or industrial-grade disinfectant properties should look at dedicated scrubbers or chemical cleaners instead.

Sustained daily use behaviour

The wood-pulp and cellulose blend maintains absorbency through repeated wash cycles and resists odour because the material dries quickly between tasks. Under continuous daily demand the cloths remain effective until the fibres naturally break down at the end of their compostable service life.

Questions about this item

What surface size do I need to lay out each 7.9 in x 7 in cloth for air-drying?

Allow at least a 7.9 in x 7 in area per cloth; the thin .2 in profile means they dry flat on a countertop or rack within a few hours.

Can I keep using my regular paper-towel holder with these 7.9 in x 7 in sheets?

Standard holders are built for rolls, not flat 7.9 in x 7 in sheets; store the cloths folded in a drawer or on a shelf instead.

How do I know a cloth is still performing as intended after several washes?

It should absorb liquid instantly, release it when wrung, and dry without odour within hours; loss of absorbency or persistent smell means it is time to compost and replace.
