Ultra-thin 4-inch LED kit

The Infibrite IB-001-8-9W-WH-12PK is a 12-pack of 4-inch recessed LED ceiling lights designed for new builds or remodels. Each unit draws 9 watts to deliver 750 lumens and includes an integrated junction box. The slim 1-inch profile needs only 2 inches of clearance above the ceiling, making it suitable for tight plenum spaces.

Thermals noise and efficiency

Airtight construction helps dissipate heat while blocking moisture and dust. The lights operate silently with smooth 5-to-100-per-cent dimming and no audible hum. Energy Star certification confirms up to 88-per-cent power savings compared with traditional sources. Wet-rated sealing allows safe use in bathrooms, kitchens and outdoor soffits.

Five selectable colour temperatures

A switch on each fixture lets installers choose 2700K, 3000K, 3500K, 4000K or 5000K to match the room’s purpose. IC-rated housing permits direct contact with insulation. The 120V wiring clicks into the supplied junction box and a 1:1 cut-out template speeds hole preparation. FCC, ETL and UL-certified connectors complete the code-compliant package.

Questions about this item

How do I install the IB-001-8-9W-WH-12PK in a ceiling with only 2 inches of clearance?

Use the included 1:1 template to cut the 4-inch hole, then connect the wires via the click-in connectors on the UL-certified junction box; the fixture height is 1 inch and requires a minimum 2-inch clearance, making it suitable for tight plenums. IC-rated construction allows direct contact with insulation.

Will I need to replace the LED module or driver in the IB-001-8-9W-WH-12PK over time?

The kit has an integrated LED array with no user-replaceable bulb; the 5-year limited warranty covers the complete unit. The airtight, corrosion-resistant housing and quick heat dissipation are designed to sustain the 750-lumen output without module or driver replacement during the warranted period.

At what point does heat buildup limit the output of the IB-001-8-9W-WH-12PK during continuous operation?

The 9-watt LED is housed in a metal body engineered for rapid heat dissipation and an airtight seal that protects against moisture and dust. This thermal design supports sustained 750-lumen performance at 120V across the 2,700 K to 5,000 K range without a stated output reduction threshold under normal conditions.
