What this product is and who it is for

The Infibrite IB-002-8-12W-WH-12PK is a 12-pack of 6-inch ultra-thin LED recessed ceiling lights. Each fixture delivers 1050 lumens at 12 watts on a 120V circuit and includes an integrated junction box. The kit is designed for homeowners and contractors who need a complete, energy-efficient solution for new builds or whole-room retrofits where minimal ceiling depth is available.

Who this suits and who should look elsewhere

These lights suit projects that require wet-rated fixtures for bathrooms, kitchens or soffits and benefit from selectable colour temperatures between 2700K and 5000K. They also suit installations where a 2-inch clearance and IC rating allow direct contact with insulation. Buyers who need a smaller aperture, a higher lumen output per fixture or a voltage other than 120V should consider other options.

The specification that decides fit

The critical specification is the minimum clearance of 2 inches combined with the 6-inch aperture and integrated junction box. If the ceiling cavity cannot accommodate that depth or the cut-out size does not match the 5-to-8-inch adjustable range, the kit will not install correctly regardless of its other features.

Questions about this item

Does the 120V junction box limit the dimming range?

The kit dims smoothly from 5% to 100% on standard 120V circuits without flicker or hum.

How much ceiling depth is required for the 6" housing?

Only 2 inches of clearance are needed, and the fixture is IC rated for direct contact with insulation.

Which step do installers most often skip with the click-in wiring?

They forget to secure the 1:1 template before cutting, leading to oversized holes that the trim cannot cover.
