throw DLP projector delivers 3300 ANSI lumens at 1024 x 768 native resolution with 15000:1 contrast and HDMI 1.4 connectivity
The InFocus IN124STa is a DLP projector built for short-throw installation in home theatre settings. It delivers 3300 ANSI lumens of brightness and a native resolution of 1024 x 768 for clear images in rooms with some ambient light. The unit includes built-in speakers and supports 3D content playback. It connects via HDMI 1.4, VGA, composite, USB and network ports.
At 3300 ANSI lumens the projector sits within the 3000 to 3500 lumen range, giving comfortable output for darkened or moderately lit living rooms. A 15000:1 contrast ratio helps maintain shadow detail during film playback. The fixed XGA resolution limits fine detail when displaying high-definition sources. Brightness drops off if the lamp ages beyond its rated life.
HDMI 1.4 provides digital video and audio but does not support the bandwidth required for 4K or high-refresh-rate signals. The short-throw lens reduces required projection distance, yet the throw ratio is not adjustable beyond the fixed optical design. Legacy ports such as VGA, RS-232 and composite remain for older devices. Wireless streaming is not included.
