Bright 4200-lumen DLP projector

The InFocus IN3134A delivers 4200 lumens of brightness with a native 1024 x 768 resolution and an 8000:1 contrast ratio. It suits meeting rooms and classrooms where ambient light is present and clear text display is required.

Native XGA limits full-HD detail

The projector accepts 1080p input but scales it to the 1024 x 768 panel, so fine detail in full-HD sources is reduced. Its 4:3 aspect ratio also leaves black bars when displaying widescreen content without manual adjustment.

Lightweight at 6.9 lbs with versatile mounting

Weighing 6.9 lbs, the unit is portable enough for temporary setups and supports ceiling or rear projection. Built-in speakers handle basic audio, while HDMI with MHL allows direct connection from compatible mobile devices.

Questions about this item

Should I pick the 4200-lumen model or a lower-brightness version for a lit meeting room?

The 4200-lumen rating suits rooms with ambient light; choose it over dimmer models when you cannot control windows or overhead lighting.

What does the 4200-lumen figure actually deliver once the projector is installed?

It provides bright, readable images on screens up to 271.82 inches even with some room light, while the 8000:1 contrast keeps text sharp.

Which video inputs does the HDMI (MHL) port support and what resolution does it cap at?

The HDMI port with MHL accepts 1080p signals; the projector then scales to its native 1024x768 resolution for display.
