Ready for classrooms and meeting rooms

The InFocus IN124 is a DLP business projector built for environments that need high brightness at a practical price. It delivers 3200 ANSI lumens from a 0.60 inch DLP chip with native 1024 x 768 resolution and a 4:3 aspect ratio. A 230 W UHP lamp rated for 3500 hours in normal mode and 5000 hours in Eco mode keeps running costs predictable for daily use.

Suited for fixed installs with standard throw

This unit suits schools and offices that can place the projector between 5.0 and 38.0 feet from the screen to reach image sizes from 34.56 to 289.34 inches. The 1.97 to 2.17 throw ratio and vertical-only digital keystone limit flexibility for off-centre or ultra-short-throw setups. Buyers who need horizontal keystone, lens shift or wireless networking should look at other models.

Connections and modes that simplify daily operation

Two VGA inputs, HDMI 1.4, composite RCA, S-Video, RS232 and a mini USB port cover legacy and current sources without adapters. Built-in 2.0 W mono speaker handles basic audio so external speakers are optional for voice content. PC 3D Ready, blackboard mode, closed captioning and 24/7 operation support extend utility across lessons, presentations and digital signage.

Questions about this item

What video source do I need to connect to the HDMI 1.4 port to use the PC 3D Ready feature?

A PC that outputs a 3D signal over HDMI 1.4 at a supported mode such as 1080p/60 or 720p will enable the PC 3D Ready function.

Can I keep using my VGA laptop alongside the HDMI input on this projector?

Yes, the projector provides two VGA D-Sub 15-pin inputs and one HDMI 1.4 port so you can switch between the laptop and a digital source.

How do I confirm the lamp is operating at the rated 3,500-hour life after installation?

Reset the lamp timer in the on-screen menu after fitting the SP-LAMP-070; the counter will then track hours toward the 3,500-hour rating.
