Professional Glossy Inkjet Paper

Inkpress Glossy is a single-sided glossy inkjet paper supplied as a 17 inch by 100 foot roll. It weighs 240gsm and measures 10.4 mil thick for a substantial, professional feel. The ultra-absorbent coating is optimised for pigment inks, including Epson UltraChrome K3, and supports 6 to 10 colour printers.

Roll Capacity And Print Headroom

The 100 foot roll length provides generous headroom for extended print runs such as photo series, proofing batches or wide-format marketing displays. At 17 inches wide it accommodates sheet sizes up to 13 by 19 inches when cut, but it cannot produce prints wider than the roll itself. Very high-volume commercial environments may find the single roll insufficient for continuous unattended operation.

Coating Limits And Media Compatibility

The glossy coating is engineered for pigment-based inkjets and delivers instant drying to prevent puddling and shadow highlighting. It is not designed for dye-sublimation, laser or offset workflows, and the single-sided finish means the reverse surface is not printable. Buyers needing double-sided output or non-inkjet processes should select a different media type.

Questions about this item

Will the 17-inch roll feed correctly through my existing 17-inch compatible printer?

The roll is 17 inches wide and 100 feet long, matching standard 17-inch roll-fed printers that accept a 10.4 mil media thickness.

How can I confirm the ultra-absorbent coating is preventing puddling on my pigment ink prints?

Prints should dry instantly without wet spots or shadow highlights sitting on the surface; check a solid black area immediately after output for a dry, uniform gloss.

Does the 100-foot roll ship on a core that fits my printer spindle, or do I need a separate adapter?

The roll is supplied wound on a standard core; no extra adapters are included, so verify your printer's spindle diameter before installation.
