Professional Luster Photo Roll

The Inkpress Luster Premium roll measures 16 inches wide by 100 feet long with a 10.4 mil thickness and 240 gsm weight. Its bright white resin-coated surface delivers 94% brightness for vivid color saturation and contrast. The single-sided microporous coating supports both dye and pigment inkjet printers for professional-grade photographic results.

Instant-Dry Coating Benefit

The advanced ultra-absorbent coating allows UltraChrome and other pigmented inks to dry instantly on contact. This prevents puddling and eliminates black shadow highlighting that can occur with slower-drying surfaces. Consistent performance across compatible printer models means reliable output without waiting for prints to cure before handling.

Printer Width and Ink Type Check

Verify your inkjet printer accepts 16-inch wide roll media before ordering. Confirm the printer uses either dye or pigment inks, as the coating is engineered for both but not for other ink technologies. The paper is single-sided, so ensure your workflow prints on the coated face only.

Questions about this item

How often will the 16-inch roll need replacing with daily printing?

The 100-foot roll yields many prints; replacement frequency depends on your daily output volume and chosen print dimensions.

What limits continuous printing on this resin-coated 240gsm paper?

The 10.4mil thickness and single-sided coating require proper printer handling; sustained runs are limited by the printer's roll capacity and drying time.

Does the luster finish affect heat or power use during all-day printing?

The microporous coating enables instant ink drying, reducing printer idle time and overall energy consumption during extended sessions.
