Metallic Gloss Inkjet Paper

Inkpress Metallic Gloss Inkjet Paper is a specialty photo paper designed for inkjet printers. The metallic glossy surface adds a distinctive sheen that makes prints stand out. It suits photographers and designers who want a premium look for portraits, displays or competition entries. The 4x6 inch sheets are convenient for small-format projects and postcards.

Capacity and headroom

Each pack contains 50 sheets weighing 255 gsm with a 10 mil thickness, giving a sturdy, professional feel. The resin-coated surface provides a high-gloss finish that enhances colour depth and image clarity. Instant dry and scratch-resistant properties help the paper handle everyday studio use. Large-format or roll-fed printing is not supported by this sheet size.

Upgrade path

This paper replaces standard glossy or matte inkjet sheets when a metallic shimmer is desired for visual impact. The jump is worth it for projects that benefit from extra vibrancy and a unique reflective quality. It is not intended for buyers who need archival matte surfaces or larger sheet formats beyond 4x6 inches.

Questions about this item

Will the 255 gsm, 10 mil sheets feed reliably in an older inkjet that only handles standard photo paper?

The 255 gsm weight and 10 mil thickness are heavier than typical 4×6 photo paper, so check your printer's maximum media weight before loading a full stack.

How can I confirm the metallic gloss coating is performing correctly after the first print?

A correct print shows instant drying, a scratch-resistant surface, and a distinctive metallic sheen that makes colours appear more vibrant than on standard glossy paper.

Does the 50-sheet pack include any ICC profiles or do I need to buy a calibration kit separately?

The box contains only the 50 sheets of 4×6 inch metallic gloss paper; no profiles, calibration tools or additional accessories are included.
