Metallic Satin Finish

Inkpress Metallic Satin is a microporous RC photograde ink jet paper with a unique metallic surface layer. It yields prints similar to silver halide metal papers. The finish suits professional photo reproduction and commercial photography. It is intended for users who want a distinctive metallic look.

Sheet Format and Handling

The paper comes in a 13x19 inch sheet size with 25 sheets per pack. This format fits large-format inkjet printers that accept 13x19 media. The microporous coating allows rapid ink absorption and quick drying. It does not suit printers limited to smaller sheet sizes or roll-fed workflows.

Coating Behaviour Under Load

A unique ceramic coating technology gives greater ink absorption for superior image reproduction. The microporous structure handles heavy ink loads during sustained printing without pooling. It maintains consistent colour density across long print runs. It is not designed for non-inkjet processes such as laser or darkroom exposure.

Questions about this item

How long will the metallic satin surface maintain its finish under continuous display lighting?

The microporous RC base and ceramic coating are designed for professional photo reproduction, providing stability comparable to silver halide metal papers for long-term display.

Does the paper curl or emit odour during high-volume printing sessions?

The resin-coated construction resists curling, and the inkjet coating is formulated for clean, odour-free output even during extended print runs.

Which printers and ink sets are compatible with this 13x19 inch metallic satin paper?

It works with any inkjet printer that accepts 13 by 19 inch sheets and uses dye or pigment inks; the ceramic coating optimises absorption for both ink types.
