Dual-Lens 6MP Outdoor Camera

The INSEETECH camera combines two 3MP lenses to deliver 6MP resolution with a 355° pan and 90° tilt range. It connects via 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi and records to a microSD card up to 128 GB. AI human detection triggers auto-tracking and alerts through the INSEECam app, while three night vision modes provide 24/7 coverage. Two-way audio allows real-time communication from the app.

Powered Install With App Setup

The unit requires a mains power connection and mounts to a wall or ceiling using the included bracket. Configuration is handled entirely in the INSEECam app on a 2.4 GHz network; the camera will not join a 5 GHz band. Ensure the external antenna is positioned for a strong signal before finalising the mount. A microSD card must be inserted and formatted in the app to enable continuous 24/7 recording.

Check Wi-Fi Band And Storage First

Verify your router broadcasts a dedicated 2.4 GHz SSID, as the camera cannot connect to 5 GHz networks. Confirm the installation site has a nearby power outlet for the plug-in adapter. Purchase a microSD card up to 128 GB separately, since none is included, and format it via the app before relying on local recording. The IP66 rating suits outdoor mounting, but the fixed focal lens cannot be optically zoomed after installation.

Questions about this item

How can I verify the 6MP dual-lens camera is recording at 2304×2592 after setup?

Open the INSEECam app live view and confirm the resolution indicator shows 2304×2592 at 12 fps; review a saved clip on the microSD card to ensure both 3MP lenses capture synchronized footage.

What comes in the box and what must I buy separately for 24/7 recording?

The package includes the white dome camera with external antenna and power plug; you must purchase a microSD card up to 128 GB separately to enable continuous local storage.

Which night vision mode should I choose for colour detail versus maximum range?

Select Full-Colour mode for illuminated colour detail using the built-in LEDs, or Infrared mode for longer-range black-and-white viewing in total darkness; Dual-Light Alarm adds a visible deterrent flash.
