Intel NUC 11 Extreme gaming desktop

This Intel NUC 11 Extreme system fits an 8-core i9-11900KB processor and dual RTX4060 O8G V2 graphics cards into an 8-litre ITX chassis measuring 357 x 189 x 120 mm. It ships with Windows 11 Home, 32GB DDR4 3200MHz memory and a 1TB Crucial P3 Plus PCIe 4.0 NVMe SSD.

Who this suits and who should look elsewhere

The configuration suits gamers and creators who want high single-thread performance up to 4.90 GHz and twin GPU output in a compact footprint. Buyers who need more internal storage bays, additional PCIe expansion slots, or a larger power supply for future upgrades should consider a standard ATX build instead.

The spec that decides fit

The 650W 80 Plus Gold power supply defines the total power budget for the CPU and dual graphics cards, so anyone planning heavier overclocks or extra drives must verify that this wattage covers their intended load.

How do I install the DUAL RTX4060 O8G V2 graphics cards and what step is often missed?

The cards are pre-installed. If you reseat them, fully insert each into the PCIe slot until the retention clip clicks and attach both 8-pin power connectors from the 650W PSU.

Which components will need maintenance or replacement first in this NUC11BTMi9?

Clean dust from the ITX case intake and the DUAL RTX4060 O8G V2 fans every 6-12 months. The 650W 80 Plus Gold PSU and 32GB DDR4 3200MHz memory typically last the system's lifetime.
