Intel NUC 11 Extreme gaming desktop

This Intel NUC 11 Extreme system delivers a complete gaming desktop built around an 8-core Core i9-11900KB processor and an RTX 3060Ti graphics card. It ships with 32 GB of DDR4 3200 MHz memory and a 1 TB NVMe SSD for fast load times. The 650 W 80 Plus Gold power supply and compact ITX chassis keep the build tidy. Windows 11 Home is pre-installed and ready to use.

Upgrade from older pre-built or DIY compact rigs

The combination of a high-turbo i9 CPU and a Founders Edition RTX 3060Ti replaces ageing mid-range towers that struggle at 1440p. Builders who need Thunderbolt 4 connectivity and PCIe 4.0 storage lanes will notice the jump immediately. The 8-litre case fits on a desk without the bulk of a traditional ATX build. Buyers who want more storage bays or a second graphics card should look elsewhere.

Sustained load behaviour in an 8-litre chassis

Under prolonged gaming sessions the 650 W Gold-rated unit feeds both the 8-core CPU and the RTX GPU without throttling the 4.90 GHz boost clock. The ITX layout uses directed airflow across the double-wide PCIe slot to keep the Founders Edition cooler stable. Memory runs at the rated 3200 MHz with XMP enabled for consistent bandwidth. Thermal headroom remains adequate for extended compile or render workloads.

Questions about this item

What are the dimensions of the ITX case so I can check if it fits my desk space?

The case measures 357 x 189 x 120mm with an 8L volume, so verify your available clearance against those figures before ordering.

How do I install the RTX 3060Ti FE Card into the double-wide PCIe X16 Gen4 slot, and what is the common mistake?

Remove the bracket, align the card with the double-wide PCIe X16 Gen4 slot, and secure it; the step people miss is forgetting to connect the PSU power cables to the graphics card.

When will the 650W 80 Plus Gold power supply need replacement under heavy gaming loads?

A quality 650W 80 Plus Gold unit typically lasts 5–7 years; plan to swap it once fan noise rises or voltages drift under sustained 3060Ti and i9-11900KB demand.
