16-Port PoE+ Gigabit Switch

The Intellinet 561198-UK is a 16-port Gigabit switch with PoE+ support to 802.3 standards. It delivers data and power over a single cable for devices such as IP cameras, wireless access points and VoIP phones. Web management and two SFP uplinks give administrators control and fibre connectivity options. The black metal chassis is built for rack or desktop installation.

Suited for small offices and branch sites

This switch suits small offices and branch sites that need to power multiple PoE devices from one unit while keeping cabling simple. It is not for buyers who need Layer 3 routing features, high PoE budgets beyond the 802.3at limit, or a fanless design for silent environments. Organisations requiring advanced VLAN stacking or redundant power supplies should look at managed chassis switches instead.

16 ports with 802.3at PoE+

The single specification that decides fit is the sixteen 802.3at PoE+ ports combined with two SFP slots for uplink flexibility. If your deployment needs exactly sixteen powered ports and fibre uplinks in a web-managed unit, this model matches that requirement. If you need more ports, higher per-port power, or CLI management, this is not the right part.
