Extends a single PoE link to 200 m (656 ft.) while powering four devices at up to 30 W each from a 90 W budget
The Intellinet 561617 is a four-port Gigabit Ultra PoE extender that adds up to 100 m (328 ft.) to an existing PoE link, doubling the reach to 200 m (656 ft.). It connects and powers four PoE devices such as network cameras, wireless access points or VoIP phones from a single PoE injector or switch PSE port.
The unit delivers a total PoE power budget of 90 W across four PSE ports, each capable of up to 30 W output. It supports 10/100/1000 Mbps data rates and complies with IEEE 802.3bt (PoE++ / 4PPoE). PoE awareness ensures power is only sent to IEEE 802.3at/af-compliant devices; non-PoE devices receive data only.
Installation is straightforward: connect the incoming PoE cable to the extender and patch out to up to four powered devices. No software configuration is required. Short-circuit, overload and high-voltage protection guard connected equipment. Buyers who need to extend a single device beyond 200 m or who require more than 90 W total power will need a different solution.
