M6 cage nut kit, 100 pieces

This Intellinet kit supplies 100 M6 cage nuts with matching screws and plastic washers. It is a single pack for mounting equipment into standard server racks and cabinets. The hardware is finished in silver and listed as new stock.

Installers who need a ready supply of M6 fasteners

The pack suits technicians fitting servers, switches or patch panels that use M6 cage nuts. It will not suit builds that require a different thread size, square-hole clips, or smaller quantities than 100 pieces.

Thread size M6

The only specification that determines fit is the M6 thread. Every nut, screw and washer in the 100-piece kit follows this thread standard, so the hardware works only with M6 mounting holes.

Questions about this item

What thread size do the cage nuts and screws in the Intellinet 713658 kit use?

The kit includes M6 cage nuts and matching M6 screws, supplied together in the 100-piece set.

How do I install the cage nuts into square rack holes without damaging the clips?

Compress the spring clips on each cage nut, insert it into the square hole, then release so the clips snap behind the rail; start the M6 screw by hand to avoid cross-threading.

When should I replace the plastic washers that come with the Intellinet 713658 kit?

Replace a washer if it shows cracking, deformation or loss of tension after repeated equipment swaps, since the washers distribute load and protect the rack finish.
