Slim Cat6 patch cable

This ultra-thin Cat6 patch cable measures 5 ft and uses stranded 30 AWG pure copper conductors with gold-plated RJ45 connectors on both ends. The snag-free boot design protects the connector tabs during installation and removal. It is intended for desktop, rack or wall-plate connections where space is limited and flexibility matters.

250 MHz bandwidth limit

The cable is rated to 250 MHz and supports 10 Gbps transmission in accordance with ISO/IEC 11801 and EN 50288. At this frequency the 10 Gbps rate is guaranteed only over shorter distances; longer runs will fall back to 1 Gbps. Unshielded construction means it is more susceptible to external noise in electrically noisy environments.

5 ft reach and PoE++ headroom

At 5 ft the link comfortably handles 10 Gbps and all PoE classes up to IEEE 802.3bt Type 4 (PoE++ / 4PPoE / Ultra PoE) without voltage-drop concerns. Beyond the rated length the 30 AWG conductors increase insertion loss, so 10 Gbps cannot be maintained and PoE power budget shrinks. The slim profile eases routing in dense cabinets but offers no shielding against alien crosstalk.
