Cat6a S/FTP Patch Cable 10 ft

This Intellinet Cat6a S/FTP patch cable is a shielded twisted-pair network lead built for 10 Gigabit Ethernet links. It uses 100 % copper conductors at 26 AWG with gold-plated RJ45 connectors on both ends. The S/FTP construction adds an overall aluminium braid and individual foil around each pair for strong noise rejection. Snag-free boots protect the connectors during repeated plugging and unplugging.

Suited for 10GBase-T runs up to 330 ft

The cable meets TIA/EIA and ISO Category 6a requirements and supports 10GBase-T speeds across the full 100-metre channel. It works with switches, patch panels and other RJ45 networking gear in data centres, offices or home labs. Builders who need longer single cables than 10 ft or who require outdoor-rated jackets should look at other cable types. Installers needing solid-core cable for permanent in-wall runs will also need a different product.

500 MHz bandwidth with 10 ft of headroom

At 500 MHz the cable provides ample margin for 10 Gbit/s traffic over short patch distances. The 10 ft length is ideal for rack-to-rack or desk-to-panel connections inside a cabinet. For runs approaching the 330 ft channel limit the installer must account for total link length including all patch cords and horizontal cable. Beyond the rated frequency or distance the link may not sustain 10 Gbit/s performance.
