This 10-pack supplies Intellinet Cat8.1 U/FTP slim patch cables, each 3 ft long with RJ45 connectors. The stranded 30 AWG construction uses 100% bare copper conductors and 50 micro-inch gold-plated contacts. Aluminium foil shields every twisted pair, meeting ISO/IEC 11801 and EN 50173-1 Class I requirements. Snag-free boots protect the connectors during frequent moves.

Upgrade from lower-category patch leads

Replacing Cat6a or earlier cables with this Cat8.1 set raises the certified bandwidth to 2000 MHz and enables 40 Gbps or 25 Gbps links. The jump is worth it when rack density demands the thinner 30 AWG profile for better airflow and easier routing around corners. Existing equipment must support 40GBASE-T or 25GBASE-T to use the full headroom.

Capacity and headroom for dense racks

The cables comfortably handle 40 Gbps over the full 3 ft length and carry PoE up to IEEE 802.3bt Type 4 without voltage drop concerns. Shielding per pair keeps alien crosstalk low in tightly bundled runs. They run out of reach for connections longer than 3 ft, so longer horizontal runs need a different cable length.
