Two-Port PoE+ Extender for Network Devices

The Intellinet 561266 extends a single PoE connection to two powered devices such as cameras, access points or VoIP phones. It accepts up to 30 W from a compliant injector or switch and delivers up to 25 W to each attached device. The unit draws all its power from the PoE input so no separate supply is required. It is built for installers who need to run two endpoints from one cable run.

Plug-and-Play Installation With Distance Limits

Connect the PoE In port to the source and the two PoE Out ports to the powered devices using Cat5e or Cat6 cable. Each segment can reach 100 m, giving a total path of 200 m between source and endpoint. Power is only sent to IEEE 802.3af or 802.3at compliant gear; non-PoE devices receive data only. The extender will not work if the source cannot supply enough power for both endpoints or if cable runs exceed the stated lengths.

Gigabit Data Rate and Power Budget Constraints

The repeater passes 10/100/1000 Mbps traffic while staying within the 25 W per-port output limit. Total power available to the two devices depends on what the upstream PSE provides, up to its 30 W input ceiling. It does not amplify the signal beyond the 200 m total reach, nor does it add managed switching features such as VLANs or QoS.
