Cat6 UTP cable, 75 ft length

The Intellinet Cat6 UTP patch cable uses RJ45 male connectors on both ends to link switches, routers, modems or patch panels. Its 75 ft (22.5 m) yellow PVC jacket is unshielded and fitted with snag-free boots that protect the gold-plated contacts during routing. The cable is built to meet TIA/EIA specifications for twisted-pair wiring.

Sustained throughput on Cat6 copper

Cat6 cabling is rated for 10/100/1000BASE-T operation, so the link maintains gigabit speeds continuously across the full 75 ft run. The gold-plated contacts and moulded strain relief keep resistance low and prevent intermittent faults when the cable carries heavy traffic for long periods. PVC construction resists kinking that could degrade signal quality over time.

Distance limit for gigabit Ethernet

The 1000BASE-T standard permits a maximum channel length of 100 m, so this 22.5 m assembly leaves ample margin for patch-panel and equipment cords in a single link. Shielding is not present, so the cable should be kept away from strong EMI sources to preserve error-free transmission. It does not support 10 GBASE-T, which requires Cat6a or higher cabling.
