Cat8.1 U/FTP 10-Pack

This pack supplies ten white Cat8.1 U/FTP patch cables, each three feet long and terminated with RJ45 connectors. The cables use stranded 30 AWG bare copper conductors and meet the 2 GHz / 40 Gbps Class I channel requirements of ISO/IEC 11801 and EN 50173-1. Snag-free boots and 50 micro-inch gold-plated contacts protect the connectors during repeated mating cycles. They are rated for PoE++ (IEEE 802.3bt) power delivery.

Upgrade from Cat6a or Cat7

Replacing older Category 6a or Category 7 links with these Cat8.1 cables raises the usable bandwidth ceiling to 40 Gbps and doubles the frequency headroom to 2 GHz. The jump is worthwhile when 25GBase-T or 40GBase-T ports are active and the channel length stays within the Class I limit. Aluminum foil around each pair keeps alien crosstalk low enough to sustain those speeds in dense bundles.
