Controls three computers from one keyboard, mouse and 4K DisplayPort monitor with USB-C and DisplayPort inputs
The IOGEAR GCS1953 lets one keyboard, mouse and 4K DisplayPort monitor control three computers. One port accepts a USB-C source with DisplayPort Alt Mode, while the other two take native DisplayPort connections. It is built for professionals who juggle a laptop and two desktops at a single desk.
Switching between the three connected machines is instant and does not degrade the 4K video signal over long sessions. The integrated two-port USB hub keeps shared peripherals available to whichever system is active without re-enumeration delays. Power Delivery on the USB-C port charges the attached laptop while it is selected, preventing battery drain during extended work periods.
The unit measures 8.1 inches wide, 3 inches deep and 1.7 inches high, fitting neatly behind a monitor or under a dock. All required video and USB cables ship in the box, so the switch is operational immediately after placement. TAA compliance confirms it meets federal procurement standards for government and enterprise rollouts.

The switch has no fan and draws power from the connected computers, so it operates silently and adds negligible heat to a desk setup.
You need a DisplayPort monitor, a USB keyboard, a USB mouse, plus DisplayPort and USB-C cables for each computer you want to connect.
Yes, the switch passes standard DisplayPort signals, so a legacy DP 1.2 source will display at its native resolution up to 4K.
