Compact 2U rackmount chassis

The iStarUSA D-200SEA-RD-RAIL24 is a 2U server rack with a patented red aluminium front bezel and black 1.2mm SECC steel chassis. It ships with a 20-inch sliding rail kit for direct installation into standard 19-inch cabinets. The unit targets integrators building space-constrained servers or network appliances.

Build integration and clearances

The chassis accepts ATX, microATX and mini-ITX motherboards up to 12 by 9.6 inches and provides three full-height expansion slots. A single 80mm fan is fitted as standard; three additional 60mm positions are available when the DD-FANGUARD-6 bracket is added. Two 3.5-inch and two 5.25-inch drive bays handle internal storage, while a 2U power supply sits at the rear.

Front-panel security and connectivity

A keyed lock on the aluminium bezel secures the drive bays and front controls. Two USB 2.0 ports, power and HDD LEDs, plus power and alarm reset switches sit behind the locked door for operator access. Temperature and fan-speed indicators require the optional TC-ISF08 sensor board to function.
