The iStarUSA D-400SEA-BK-RAIL24 is a 4U rackmount cabinet built from 1.2mm SECC zinc-coated steel with an aluminium alloy front bezel. It ships with a 20" sliding rail kit for quick installation in standard 19" racks. The unit suits small-server deployments and test-lab builds that need front-panel security and compact depth.

Fits ATX or microATX boards with seven expansion

The chassis accepts motherboards up to 12" x 9.6" and provides seven rear expansion slots for add-in cards. A PS2 or mini-redundant power supply is required but not included. One 120 mm and one 80 mm fan are pre-installed; an optional second 80 mm fan can be added. Four 5.25" bays, one external 3.5" bay and two internal 3.5" bays handle mixed storage layouts.

Locking bezel, front USB and status LEDs

The patented aluminium front panel includes a key lock to restrict physical access. Two front USB 2.0 ports allow quick peripheral connection. Power, reset, HDD, temperature and fan indicators are built in; temperature and fan readings need the optional TC-ISF08 sensor board. An optional BPU-230 cage converts two internal 3.5" bays into three hot-swappable slots.
