Aluminium support bar for D Storm chassis

The iStarUSA DD-FANBAR is a centre support bar machined from aluminium for D Storm server chassis in 2U, 3U and 4U heights. It stiffens the fan wall and keeps airflow paths aligned under continuous operation. The part is supplied new and meets RoHS compliance requirements.

For installers fitting D Storm 2U to 4U units

Technicians building or servicing D Storm 2U, 3U or 4U enclosures gain a rigid mounting point that prevents fan vibration and frame flex. The bar only fits the D Storm series, so other chassis models or non-standard heights will need a different support solution.

Questions about this item

Does the DD-FANBAR include mounting hardware for the D Storm chassis?

The aluminium support bar ships as a single component; any screws or rails required to secure it inside the D Storm 2U, 3U or 4U chassis are supplied with the chassis itself.

Is there a different version of the DD-FANBAR for each chassis height?

No, the same DD-FANBAR model fits all three D Storm form factors — 2U, 3U and 4U — so one part covers every supported height.
