Server fan adapter for 60-90 mm fans

The iStarUSA DIY-F01-69 is a full-size CPU reactive fan adapter built from silicon rubber and acrylic. It lets administrators mount fans ranging from 60 to 90 mm onto standard server heatsinks. A complete screw set is included so installation requires no extra hardware.

Replaces proprietary or undersized brackets

The adapter replaces fixed brackets that only accept a single fan diameter or that transmit vibration to the chassis. The jump is worthwhile when a server board uses a non-standard mounting pattern but the chassis can accommodate a larger, quieter fan in the 60-90 mm range.

Fits standard heatsink mounting holes

The bracket aligns with common square mounting patterns found on many server CPU coolers. Silicon rubber construction absorbs vibration, freeing the build from fan hum while the acrylic frame keeps the assembly rigid. No additional ducting or shroud is required.
