Hot-swap rack for server bays

The iStarUSA T-7M1HD-BLUE fits a single 5.25 inch bay and accepts one 3.5 inch or 2.5 inch drive. It supports SAS I, II and III as well as SATA I, II and III interfaces. The tray is coloured blue for quick visual identification in dense chassis.

Aluminium tray and blower fan

The removable tray and main chassis are built from aluminium to conduct heat away from the drive. An 80 mm blower fan forces air directly over the installed device. A power on/off button on the front lets you spin a drive down before removal without opening the case.

Cableless backplane with activity LEDs

The backplane uses a point-to-point design that removes master/slave jumpers and enables true plug-and-play hot-swapping. Front-mounted LEDs show power status and drive activity at a glance. The unit is rated for transfer rates up to 12 Gb/s and accommodates drives up to 14 TB capacity.
