The iStarUSA T-7M1HD-RED fits a single 5.25 inch bay and accepts one 3.5 inch or 2.5 inch SAS or SATA drive. It targets administrators who need quick drive changes without shutting down the server. The tray is finished in red aluminium for easy identification in dense racks.

Tool-free installation with cableless backplane

Sliding the tray into the bay connects power and data through a cableless backplane, so no internal cabling is required. The point-to-point design removes master and slave configuration steps. The only common issue is ensuring the 80 mm blower fan aligns with chassis airflow to avoid recirculation.

Sustained 12 Gb/s throughput with active cooling

Under continuous load the aluminium chassis and 80 mm blower fan keep drive temperatures stable while maintaining up to 12 Gb/s transfer rates. Power and activity LEDs give immediate visual status during long rebuilds or backups. The unit supports drives up to 14 TB capacity without thermal throttling.
