The iStarUSA T-G525-SS fits a standard 5.25" front bay and accepts one 3.5" or 2.5" drive. It provides a hot-swap tray with a key lock and LED indicators for power and drive activity. The all-metal chassis includes a 30 mm fan for active cooling.

Server Builders Needing Hot-Swap Access

Administrators who want tool-less drive changes in a rack or tower will appreciate the screw-less carrier for standard 3.5" drives. Builders using slim 3.5" drives must still secure them with screws, so the tray does not suit those models. Systems without a free 5.25" bay cannot install this unit.
