Wallmount Server Cabinet 9U 600mm

The iStarUSA WM960B is a 9U wallmount server cabinet built from 2.0mm SPCC cold-roll steel posts and 1.2mm enclosure panels. It ships pre-assembled in a black powder-coat finish and supports equipment up to 132 lbs. Three-way cabling tunnels at the top, bottom, and rear simplify cable routing for network and server gear. Optional dual 120V AC fans can be added to the top panel for active airflow.

Suitable For Network Closets And Edge Sites

This cabinet suits installers who need a secure, pre-assembled enclosure for patch panels, switches, or shallow servers in spaces where floor standing racks are impractical. The lockable glass front door and locking side panels protect against unauthorised access. Builders who require deeper equipment bays beyond the 22-inch internal limit or who need higher load ratings should consider alternative mounting solutions.

Maximum Equipment Depth 22 Inches

The internal usable depth is 22 inches maximum, which determines whether your chassis, server, or UPS will fit without modification. Supported chassis depth is listed as 23 inches and under, so verify your hardware dimensions against this figure before ordering. The 19.72-inch height and 23.62-inch width define the wall footprint for mounting clearance.

Questions about this item

How do I mount the WM960B to the wall and what step is commonly missed?

Locate wall studs or use heavy-duty anchors rated for at least 132 lbs, then bolt the rear flange through all four mounting holes; the step often missed is verifying the wall can support the full loaded weight before hanging the pre-assembled 23.62" deep cabinet.

What maintenance will the optional cooling fans need over time?

The optional 2x120mm 120V AC fans (p/n WA-FANAC120) mounted on the top panel should be checked every six months for dust buildup on blades and intake vents; clean with compressed air and replace any fan that develops bearing noise or reduced airflow.

What is the first limit reached when loading this 9U rack continuously?

The 132 lbs weight capacity of the 2.0mm SPCC steel posts and 1.2mm enclosure is the primary structural limit; exceeding it risks frame deformation or wall-mount failure before any ventilation or cabling constraint appears.
