15U Wall-Mount Cabinet

The iStarUSA WOM-1580 is a 15U wall-mount server cabinet built from SPCC cold-rolled steel with a 2.0mm thickness. It supports equipment up to 31.5 inches deep and carries a 145.00 lbs weight capacity. The open-frame design allows quick access to installed hardware.

Suits Shallow Rackmount Gear

This cabinet fits installers mounting standard EIA-310 equipment within the 31.5-inch depth limit and 145.00 lbs load rating. It is not for deployments requiring deeper chassis support, enclosed side panels, or a higher weight allowance than the rated capacity.

31.5-Inch Depth Limit

The maximum supported chassis depth of 31.5 inches is the critical specification. Verify your equipment depth against this figure before purchase; hardware exceeding this length will not fit inside the cabinet.

Questions about this item

What ongoing upkeep does the SPCC 2.0mm cold-roll steel frame and EIA-310 mounting rails require?

The steel frame and rails need only occasional visual checks for loose screws or corrosion; no lubrication or scheduled parts replacement is specified.

Which limit is reached first when the cabinet is fully loaded to 145.00 lbs with 31.5" deep chassis?

The 145.00 lb weight capacity is the governing limit; the 31.5" depth allowance and 15U height are fixed dimensions, not load-dependent thresholds.

How much heat and noise does the open-frame construction add when gear runs continuously?

The open frame adds no fans or power draw of its own, so it contributes zero noise and negligible thermal resistance beyond the installed equipment.
