6U Wallmount Cabinet for Shallow Gear

The iStarUSA WOM-680 is a 6U open-frame wall cabinet built from 2.0mm SPCC steel. It holds up to 145.00 lbs of rackmount equipment and accepts chassis up to 31.5 inches deep. The unit measures 13.69 x 20.91 x 19.69 inches and conforms to the EIA-310 standard. It suits small offices or edge sites needing secure, accessible mounting.

Simple Assembly with Adjustable Rails

The cabinet ships flat-packed and assembles with basic tools. Depth-adjustable mounting rails let you align different chassis lengths without drilling. The open frame gives immediate front and rear access for cabling and maintenance. Ensure the wall structure can carry the loaded weight and use appropriate anchors for the mounting surface.

Verify Depth, Weight and Wall Strength

Confirm your deepest device does not exceed 31.5 inches including cables and rails. Add the weight of all gear to stay within the 145.00 lbs limit. Check that the intended wall can support the total load and offers suitable fixing points. No forced-air cooling is included, so passive airflow must suffice for the installed hardware.

Questions about this item

How can I verify the rack is holding equipment correctly after installation?

What ships with the cabinet and what must be sourced separately?

The flat-packed frame, mounting rails and assembly hardware are included; wall anchors, lag bolts or concrete fixings for the mounting surface are not supplied.

Which rack-unit height should I select for my gear?

This model provides 6U of vertical space; choose it when your combined equipment height fits within six rack units.
