9U Wall-Mount Server Frame

The iStarUSA WOM980-CM2U is a 9U open-frame rack built from cold-rolled steel for 19-inch equipment. It suits small offices, research labs or home labs that need a compact, wall-mounted server platform. The black finish matches standard IT aesthetics. Buyers who need enclosed cabinets or more than 9U of vertical space should look elsewhere.

Adjustable Depth with Cable Management

The frame depth adjusts to accommodate shallow or deep 19-inch devices, freeing installers from fixed-depth constraints. A 2U horizontal cable manager is included to route patch cords neatly across the front. The open design allows unrestricted airflow from room or central air conditioning. Builders requiring lockable side panels or integrated power distribution will not find those features here.

Sustained Thermal Performance

Open-frame construction lets ambient air move freely through the 9U stack, so equipment temperatures stay stable during continuous operation. Cold-rolled steel construction resists flexing when fully loaded, keeping mounting holes aligned over time. Assembly is required before mounting. Installers without suitable wall structure or lifting assistance should plan accordingly.

Questions about this item

How deep can the 9U frame be set for long equipment?

The four-post frame adjusts to a maximum depth of 800 mm, so devices up to that length can be mounted securely.

Does the open steel frame run hot when fully populated?

The open-frame design allows room or central air conditioning to flow through the rack, giving higher thermal manageability than enclosed cabinets.

What mounting hardware must I supply to attach it to the wall?

Assembly is required and the rack is wall-mountable, so you will need suitable lag bolts or anchors for your wall type.
