9U Wallmount Rack with 2U Drawer

The iStarUSA WOM980-DWR2U is a 9U open-frame cabinet designed for wall mounting. It accepts standard 19-inch rack equipment and includes a built-in 2U drawer for accessories. The unit targets small offices, home labs and research spaces needing secure, accessible server storage.

Adjustable Depth up to 31 Inches

The four-post frame adjusts to a maximum depth of 31 inches, accommodating both shallow and deep 19-inch devices. This flexibility lets installers match the rack to varying hardware lengths without replacing the cabinet. The open design relies on room or central air conditioning for thermal management.

Cold-Rolled Steel Frame Requires Assembly

Constructed from cold-rolled SPCC steel with a black finish, the rack measures 20.9 inches wide, 18.9 inches high and 19.7 inches deep. Assembly is required on site. The wall-mountable form factor saves floor space but demands suitable structural support for the loaded weight.

Questions about this item

Which capacity should I choose for the WOM980-DWR2U?

The cabinet provides 9U of rack height and includes a 2U drawer, leaving 7U free for 19-inch equipment.

What does the 800 mm width mean once the rack is mounted?

The 800 mm overall width matches a standard 19-inch rack frame with side clearance for cable routing and the built-in drawer.

What does the adjustable 31-inch depth cap in practice?

The rails can be set anywhere up to 31 inches deep, so you can mount shallow patch panels or full-depth servers by sliding the rear posts.
