Quiet 9U Server Cabinet

The iStarUSA WQ-990 is a 9U rack enclosure built with an aluminium frame and SPCC cold-rolled steel panels. Six 120mm 120V AC fans mount on the rear door while silence-enhancing foam lines the interior to absorb equipment noise. Locking front, rear and side doors plus lockable casters secure the installation.

Suits Noise-Sensitive Installs

This cabinet fits offices, studios or home labs where audible fan noise must stay low and physical security is required. The 900mm depth accepts most rackmount chassis and the fully adjustable rails simplify alignment. Buyers needing more than 9U of vertical space or a deeper enclosure for extended servers should look at larger models.

Steady Cooling Under Load

The six rear-door fans pull air through the cabinet in a consistent front-to-rear pattern that does not rely on short bursts. Silence foam dampens the acoustic signature even when all fans run continuously at 120V. The 2200 lbs weight capacity and reinforced steel construction keep the structure rigid during sustained operation.
