Encrypted microSD Card 512GB

This iStorage microSD Card provides 512GB of removable storage designed exclusively for the datAshur SD hardware-encrypted USB Type-C flash drive. It cannot be used as a standard memory card in cameras, phones or card readers. The card is sold new in a single pack and relies entirely on the companion drive for encryption and access. ||

Dependency on datAshur SD drive

Inserting the card into the datAshur SD slot and entering an 8-64 digit PIN unlocks the hardware AES-XTS 256-bit full-disk encryption validated to FIPS PUB 197. Without the drive the card remains encrypted and inaccessible. The optional KeyWriter software allows cloning of datAshur SD drives so multiple authorised users can share the same encrypted cards. ||

Proprietary interface constraint

The card uses a standard microSD form factor but presents a proprietary encrypted interface that only the datAshur SD drive can decrypt. It offers no usable capacity or file system when connected directly to any other host. Buyers who need a conventional microSD card for general storage should look elsewhere.
